A windy evening, Farthing Downs

One of many wildflower meadows at Farthing Downs. There are numerous wildflowers to be found on grazed land including bird's-foot trefoil, sainfoin, lady's bedstraw, wild carrot, marjoram horseshoe vetch, kidney vetch, cowslip, squinancywort, and many, many more.

From ‘Rural Croydon’, a project about conservation grazing in Croydon (UK).

Commissioned by This Is Croydon, London Borough of Culture in partnership with the National Gallery as part of Constable Visits.
